Diana Talley (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Diana L. Talley was born November 9, 1951 in Lebanon, Missouri to Clemet Jones and Grace G. Teubner. She passed away Friday, August 4, 2023, in Lebanon North Nursing and Rehab in Lebanon, Missouri. She was seventy-one years, eight months and twenty-six days at the time of her passing.
Diana grew up in the Stoutland and Lebanon communities and was a graduate of Stoutland High School. She was employed at Blair Cedar for several years. She studied for her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification. Her career was caring for patients in Lebanon Care Centers.
On November 1, 1991, she was united in marriage to Steven Richard Talley. Together they shared thirty-one years of happiness and memories.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Clemet and Grace Jones; three brothers, Larry, Kenneth and Ronnie, who all perished in a tragic car accident in 1970; and her sister, Cathy McCormick.
She is survived by her husband, Richard, of the home in Phillipsburg; her daughter, Kimberly Dunkin of Lebanon, Missouri; three sons, Joe Young of Long Lane, Missouri, Joshua Young of Lebanon, Missouri, and Kenneth Young of Stoutland, Missouri; her sister, Betty Jones of Phillipsburg, Missouri; a brother, Robert Jones of Roach, Missouri; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Diana enjoyed reading a good book and making beautiful quilts for family members, as well as friends. She liked going on car rides in the country and taking in the wonderful sights of the Ozarks countryside. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were so precious to her and she looked forward to each time they could be together.
Diana was a great mother and grandmother. Her caring spirit touched the hearts of hundreds that she cared for in the nursing home throughout the years. Her love and devotion to her family will be cherished for years to come.
