Diana Vasquez (Seymour)'s Obituary
Diana Vasquez, age 77 of Seymour, Missouri passed away Thursday May 18, 2017 in Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Diana was born December 6, 1939 in Alice, Texas one of eight children born to Lucas and Rita (Palacios) Quintana. She spent a good portion of her life in Texas before moving to Chicago, IL. She was united in marriage to Rogelio “Roger” Vasquez and to this union five children were born. While in Chicago she was a lunch room manager for the Chicago Public School system and she retired from that position. Diana was of the Catholic faith. She was very adventurous and spunky and had enjoyed traveling and seeing the sights and playing the lottery.
Diana is survived by her five children, Robert Vasquez of Seymour, MO; Roger Vasquez, Jr and wife Connie of Elmwood Park, Illinois; Renee Klee of Chicago, Illinois; Reuben Vasquez and wife Nicole of Ozark, Missouri and Ronald Vasquez and wife Corrine of Chicago, Illinois; 2 sisters Angie Zamudio of St. John, Indiana and Connie Vasquez of the State of Indiana as well as 22 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2011 as well as two sisters, three brothers and a granddaughter Raven Klee.
Services will be held at a later date in Chicago, Illinois.
