Diane L. Nunn (Urbana)'s Obituary
Diane Louise Nunn, age 79, of Hermitage, Missouri, entered into rest on February 17, 2025. She was born on October 10, 1946, in Amsterdam, Missouri, to the late Ralph and Ruby (Copeland) Bagby. Diane graduated from Skyline High School in 1964. On April 3, 1965, in Urbana, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Jimmie Allen Nunn. From this union, two children were born, Kurt and Shelbi. Together, Jim and Diane owned and operated the Hickory House, a restaurant located in Nemo, Missouri. It became a beloved gathering place for friends and family, where many fond memories were made. Diane was an excellent cook and enjoyed tending to her flower garden. She was most in her element on the water, and she and Jim spent many winters in Florida, enjoying countless hours fishing together. For the past three years, Diane opened her home and heart to her beloved “adopted” granddaughter, Trinity. When Trinity was a baby, her parents needed a sitter to love and care for their daughter, and Diane was just the person. Together, they formed a beautiful bond. Diane was loving, kind, caring, and giving, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Diane was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Ray Bagby; and her son, Kurt Nunn. She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Nunn; her daughter, Shelbi Nunn; her grandsons, Christopher Nunn and wife Jalisa, Shawn Nunn, and Gaberial Nunn; her great-grandchildren, Booker, Dex, and MaKinlee; her brother, Ronnie Bagby and wife Patti; her sister, Darlene Wheeler and husband Cecil; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and beloved friends.
