Diane Joan Taylor (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Diane Joan Taylor, age 75 of Buffalo, Missouri passed away Monday September 9, 2019 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri
Diane was born on November 27, 1943 to Millard and Alice (Sheridan) Gillham. She was united in marriage to Dwight Taylor on May 16, 1970 at the True Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri. She was raised in the Red Top Community and graduated from Buffalo High School. Diane was saved at an early age and was a member of the Red Top Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed raising flowers, knitted, and liked to travel.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Joyce Gillham and Barbara Fender. She is survived by her husband Dwight Taylor of the home; one brother, Robert Gillham; and one sister, Vivian Stephens. She also leaves many nieces and nephews who will dearly miss her.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the Cantlon Otterness & Viets Funeral Home with Elder Donnie Lane and Elder Byron Smith officiating. Escorts will be Richard Taylor, Rodney Taylor, Michael Rothe, Nick Gilbert Devin Orbin, and Kip Baker. Honorary escorts will be Darrell Fender and Rex Fender. Interment will be in the Red Top Cemetery under the care and direction of the Cantlon Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home.
