Dianna Alsup's Obituary
Dianna Gale Alsup, daughter of Elmer and Vera Jane Moore, was born December 23, 1948, near Hartville, Missouri. She departed this life Saturday, April 14, 2007, in Autumn Oaks Caring Center, in Mountain Grove, Missouri, at the age of fifty-eight years, three months and twenty-one days. She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Keene; her father; three brothers, Donald, Dwaine and Darrell Moore; two sisters, Barbara Tooley and Dorothy Moore; a nephew, Jackie Street; and a good friend, Jackie Watson. Dianna is survived by her two daughters, Vickie Hurt, of Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, and Rebecca Matney, of Mansfield, Missouri; a step-daughter, Tammy Harker, of Lebanon, Missouri; seven grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; her mother, Vera Moore, of Hartville, Missouri; a sister, Wanda Street, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; an aunt, Wilma Agee, of Hartville, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. In 1964 she was united in marriage to Lester Keene, and to this union two children, Ricky and Vickie, were born. In 1970 she was united in marriage to Barton Alsup, and to this union a daughter, Rebecca, was born. She was raised in the Hartville area where she attended Hartville School. Dianna lived in Oklahoma and Kansas during most of her adult life. In the early 1990’s she returned to the Wright County area. Throughout her life she worked as a general labor supervisor, computer operator and printing press operator. She loved doing good deeds for other people. Her dream was to win the lottery and sit back and give it away to those in need. Dianna had made her profession of faith in Christ and was of the Pentecostal faith. She grew up attending the Red Hill and Sunshine Churches. She loved going to the ole brush harbor meetings, riding in the back of the milk truck of the late Virgil Lansdown. In her spare time she enjoyed fishing, playing Bingo and growing big tomatoes. Dianna will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her family and friends. The memories she created will live in our hearts forever. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2007, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Hartville. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, North of Norwood, Missouri. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 7 - 8:30 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Hartville, Missouri.
