Dianna Marie Mabe (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Dianna Marie Mabe, daughter of the late Clarence and Ethel Bernetta (Burke) Henley, was born on September 28, 1939 in Dearborn, MI and departed this life on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at her home near Buffalo, MO surrounded by her family. At the time of her passing she was 86 years and five days of age. Dianna was raised and attended school near Dearborn, MI. She was united in marriage to Gid Mabe on March 16, 1957 and to this union one daughter, Vicky was born. Gid was in the Army, and the family moved wherever he was stationed. They spent time in Germany and other places before settling in El Paso, TX. They moved their family to Buffalo, MO in 1986 after Gid retired from the military. Dianna enjoyed cooking for her family, tending to her flowers, reading, and playing cards. She also enjoyed watching John Wayne and eating Lays potato chips and drinking Pepsi. Most of all, Dianna loved her family and enjoyed spending every minute she could with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dianna was preceded in death by her husband, Gid Doval Mabe; her parents; and five siblings, Randall, Bonnie, Louis, Joyce, and Evelyn. She is survived by her daughter, Vicky Allen; four grandchildren, Kimberly & husband Donnie Stidham, Jamie Allen, Jerry Allen, and James & wife Jennifer Allen; six great-grandchildren, Kailyn & husband Jusin Loveless, Benjamin Hutchings, Camren Allen, Lily Allen, Chase Allen, and Sunnie Stidham; and two siblings, Larry Henley and Franny Munyon. She also leaves other family members and many friends who will all truly miss her. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025 in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home. Escorts will be Joey Hutchings, Justin Loveless, Marty McGuire, Derek Stidham, Randy Frazier, and Toby Frazier. Honorary escorts will be James Allen, Jerry Allen, Camren Allen, and Benjamin Hutchings. Interment will be in the Memorial Gardens of Memory Cemetery under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
