Dianna Mae Newell (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Dianna Mae Newell, daughter of J.T. and Maxine Annette Poindexter Finley, was born, January 8, 1951 in South Haven, Michigan. She departed this life, Thursday, January 2, 2014, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of sixty-two years, eleven months and twenty-five days.
On June 29, 1968 in Camdenton, Missouri, she was united in marriage to James Cecil Newell and to this union two sons were born. Together they shared forty-five years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, David Finley and a sister, Cora Lamoreaux.
Survivors include her husband, J.C. Newell of the home; two sons, Ben Newell and wife Kelly and Dan Newell and wife Pam; four grandchildren, J.C. Newell, Dayton Newell, Bruce Frederick and Blake Newell all of Stoutland, Missouri; two brothers, Jay Finley and Clint Finley both of South Haven, Michigan; a cousin, Patrisha Froidl of Camdenton, Missouri and a and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Dianna was raised in Michigan and moved to Camdenton during her high school years. She was proud to be a housewife, mother to her children and a help-mate to her husband.
Dianna made a profession of faith and was a member of Mt. Horeb Missionary Baptist Church. In her spare time she loved spending time with her family and enjoyed going to the races.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. Although she left us too early, we will carry the memories she created forever in our hearts.
