Dixie Belle Corbly (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Dixie Corbly left us in the early evening of October 6th, 2015. She is preceded in death by her father Bruce Dexter “Duke” Parkhurst; her mother Dixie Faye North Parkhurst; her brother Thomas Dexter Parkhurst; and her two sons, Bruce Edward North and Aaron Marson Corbly.
She is survived by her husband, Wm. Marson Corbly of Pittsburg, MO; her daughter Dixie Marie Corbly Miller of Marshfield, MO, who gave her six beautiful grandchildren: Sandra Magee & husband Cecil Magee, Christina Dabney & husband Terry Dabney, Ashley Pfatenhauer & husband Chris Pfatenhauer, Amanda Lynn Miller, F. Matthew Miller & wife Amanda Vath Miller, and Dixie-Anna Michelle Bastow & husband Christopher Bastow; her daughter Kimberly Corbly Strader and son-in-law Dave Strader of Bolivar, MO; her daughter Deborah Corbly of Seymour, MO, who gave her one beautiful granddaughter: Destiny Ruth Nicole Tobler; nine great-grandchildren, with a new addition on the way this fall; and numerous cousins, nieces & nephews, and friends.
There will be a pot-luck style celebration of life gathering at the Nemo Lanes Bowling Alley in Nemo, MO, on Friday, October 16th, beginning from 2:00 p.m. to approx. 3:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Convoy of Hope, 330 S Patterson Ave, Springfield, MO 65802
