Dolly Jordan (Hartville)'s Obituary
Dolly Eileen (Clark) Jordan, daughter of Finis and Farrel Clark was born September 18, 1932. She departed this life Thursday, May 15, 2014, in her home with family in Hamilton, Missouri, at the age of 81.
On January 24, 1948, she was united in marriage to Arlis Efton Jordan, son of Oscar and Opha Jordan, to this union one son was born, Eddie Jordan. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arlis, his parents, her two sisters, Imogene Wisdom and Sue Robertson, and her two granddaughters, Amanda Eileen and Megan Brianne Jordan, two brothers-in-law, Johnnie Wisdom and Darryl Robertson, and a nephew, Michael Robertson. Eileen was survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Cindy Jordan, a granddaughter, Elizabeth Jordan; a grandson David Jordan, all of Hamilton, Missouri; and her brother Herbert Clark, of Hartville, Missouri; and three nephews, Jr. Wisdom, Mark Robertson and Dennis Robertson and their families. She was born and raised in the Hartville community. After she and Arlis were married, they moved to Kansas City in 1951. She moved back to the Hartville community to live with her parents when Arlis went to serve his country in the Korean War. After his return, they moved back to Kansas City in 1955, eventually making their home in Kearney, Missouri, until they moved to Hamilton, Missouri in 2001. Eileen was baptized in 1985 at Northern Hills Baptist church, near Kearney, Missouri. She attended church later in Hamilton, Missouri as long as she was able to. Eileen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and caring neighbor. She will be greatly missed and will live in our hearts forever. We celebrate her life, love and accomplishments. All of her family and friends will cherish the happy memories we made with her during her life with us.
