Don K Anderson (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Don Kevin Anderson, son of Charles S. Anderson and Delores M. Bukaty (Late), was born, March 26, 1957 in Kansas City, Kansas. He departed this life, March 2, 2018, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of sixty years, eleven months and four days.
Don is survived by his father, Charles; four siblings, Glen Anderson and wife Rebecca of Sammamish, Washington, Keith Anderson of Kansas City, Kansas, Dene’ Vogrin and husband James of Kansas City, Kansas, and Marsha Anderson of Climax Springs, Missouri; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores and three brothers, David Anderson, Mark Anderson, and Dale Anderson.
Don was raised in Kansas City, Kansas before deciding to move to Climax Springs in 2003 to be closer to his mother and father. Don worked at The Shed Restaurant in Climax Springs as a cook and also volunteered at Climax Springs Civic Center. He was the “Go-To-Guy” in the neighborhood.
Don was a member of Our Lady of Snows Mission Church.
He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and making birdhouses for neighbors and friends. His favorite past- time was listening to country music.
He was a loving son, brother, uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2018 at Our Lady of the Snows Mission Church, Climax Springs, Missouri with visitation being held from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family
