Don Moore's Obituary
Don Eugene Moore, Sr.
Don Eugene Moore, Sr., the son of Waldo Eugene and Dottie Jean (Davis) Moore, was born September 15, 1952, near Grovespring, Missouri. He departed this life Saturday, March 6, 2010, in his home, near Grovespring, Missouri, at the age of fifty-seven years, five months and twenty-one days.
Don is survived by his three sons, Don Moore, Jr. and his wife, Courtney, of Blue Springs, Missouri, Shawn Moore and his wife, Shannon, of Grovespring, Missouri, and Brian Moore, of Grovespring, Missouri; his three daughters, Teresa Staples and her husband, Jack, Tammy Moore and Susie Wallace, all of Marshfield, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Siera, Caleb, Colton, Katlyn, Destiny, Mason and Meleah; his parents, Waldo and Dottie Moore, of Grovespring, Missouri; a brother, Ronnie Moore and his wife, Regina, of Cabool, Missouri; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Eldon Prock, of Grovespring, Missouri, Brenda and Ronnie Rust, of Marshfield, Missouri, and Sandra and Cody Banks, of Gladstone, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Born and raised in the Grovespring area, he attended the Grovespring School. After entering the work force he became a welding fabricator throughout his life.
He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed the outdoors and liked to go fishing and hunting. He enjoyed having a beer, and found great pleasure and took pride in his cars, especially fast ones. In the evenings he liked watching wrestling on television with his father and mother.
Don was a devoted father, loving son, cherished grandfather, treasured brother and friends. . We celebrate his life and accomplishments, and will forever hold dear the memories he created for his family and many friends. He will be greatly missed but will live on in our hearts forever.
Funeral services will be held Monday March 8, at 2:00 pm in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Hartville, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm untill service time
