Donal Lee Jenkins (Seymour)'s Obituary
Donal Lee Jenkins, son of Ray and Ella Mae Holmes Jenkins, was born July 1, 1936 in Webster County, Missouri and departed this life on September 2, 2018 at Glenwood Healthcare Center in Seymour, Missouri at the age of eighty-two years, two months, and one day.
On October 2, 2012 he was united in marriage to Ruth May Clardy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin sister, Vonna and an infant brother, Jackie.
Donal is survived by his wife, Ruth, of the home; two sons, Larry Jenkins and his wife, Vicky, of Springfield and Travis Jenkins of Biloxi, Mississippi; four brothers, Bill Jenkins and wife, Patsy, of Nixa, Jim Jenkins and wife, Imogene, of Fordland, Dorrell Jenkins and wife, Barbara, of Crane, and Tom Jenkins and wife, Connie, of Fordland; four sisters, Peggy Fitzpatrick and husband, Jack, of Forsyth, Janice Scofield of Beloit, Wisconsin, Teresa Layton and husband, Harold, of Houston, Texas, and Alberta Daniels of Fordland, as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in Webster and Christian counties and attended Rogersville schools. He was a truck driver most of his adult life.
In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and Nascar racing.
Donal was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle. We celebrate his life and will always remember the many special times we had together.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Spring Hill Cemetery in Christian County, Mo.
