He had been with Cindy Kay Saner, as a wife, friend and partner for twenty-two years.
His parents preceded him in death.
Donald is survived by his wife, Cindy, of the home; two sons, Jamie Bradshaw, and his wife, Laura, of Fort Drum, New York, and Darrell Bradshaw, and his wife, Laura, of Marshfield, Missouri; a daughter, Tina Lewis, and her husband, Josh, of Kansas City, Missouri; a step-daughter, Barbara Burgess, of Lebanon, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; a brother, Harold Bradshaw, and his wife, Linda, of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in Laclede County, Missouri, and graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1968. He entered the military as a young man, and served his country faithfully in the United States Army for twenty years. He was stationed at Fort Campbell for several years, and did tours of duty in Vietnam, Korea, and Germany. He was the helicopter crew chief that was responsible for all helicopter maintenance. After retiring, he returned to Laclede County and made his home on a farm where he raised horses and Boer goats. He also was employed by Marathon Electric Company for several years.
Donald had made his profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Lebanon.
He enjoyed working on the farm and particularly raising Boer goats. His family was very important to him and he liked watching his grandkids football games, band, and other activities. He especially loved hunting, reading and NASCAR.
Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered as a devoted family man, a dedicated soldier, and a good friend to many. He will be greatly missed.
