Don was my uncle. I can remember spending summer vacations at his home and riding his horses. He and my dad, Gerald, enjoyed deer hunting together. I will miss him deeply.

To All of the Burwell family,My thought and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.Bart Barrett
Don was a good influence on me, (Bob Carson), his brother-in-law. I have memories of coon hunting up around Pottersburg, camping along a stream in Missouri where we flipped our canoes, rabbit hunting in London w/our brother-in-law Gerald. We had so many hunting and fishing trips together over the years. Don was a good, hard working man who enjoyed the above things. He also enjoyed horseshoes. We played every day for a week and afterwards decided it was an even draw, We agreed we both gained skill that week.
Miriam and I regret that we can not be there today with Betty and the family. You're all in our thoughts and prayers.
Sending our love,
Bob Carson
