Donald Gooding, Sr. (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Originally from Joplin, Missouri, Donald Gooding passed away on Saturday September 10, 2022, at his home in Fair Play surrounded by his family.
Don shared a home in Fair Play with his wife until her passing in 2020. He was a great mentor and was loved by many. Don was a founding member and deacon at New Beginnings Full Gospel Church in Humansville.
Being a man of truth, integrity, honor, and pride, he always put God and his family above all else. His memory will live on by those he held most dear.
Don is survived by his three children, Donna Mann, Tamzie Fine, Ricky Gooding Sr. and their families. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, George and June Gooding; his wife Sharon Gooding; his daughter Sherry Tanner; and son Donald Gooding Jr.
Services for Don will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Harvest Assembly of God Church in Fair Play, at 2:00 PM.
A visitation will be held one hour prior from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Bolivar.
Memorial contributions can be made to New Beginnings Full Gospel Church in Humansville in honor and memory of Don.
