He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Gower of Elkland, MO; three sons, Dwight & wife, Sandy of Springfield, MO, Brian of Elkland, MO, and Todd & wife Julie of Diamond, MO; five grandchildren, Savanna Mae Gower of Springfield, IL, Cody Lee Gower of Springfield, IL, Cali & husband Michael DeMoure of Springfield, IL, Colton Gower of Springfield, MO, Taylor and husband Kenneth Adams of Tempe, AZ; two great-granddaughters, Roxxi Mae and Kalli Mae; four great-grandsons, Jensen, Cole, Camden and Maverick; two brothers, Dean and wife Sue Gower of Thornfield, MO and Jerry and wife Linda Gower of Elkland, MO; and one sister, Doris of Springfield, MO.
