Donald J. Harris (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Donald Joseph Harris was born September 11, 1966 in Springfield, Missouri to Donald Harris and Kaye Sullivan Boston. He passed away in his home in Lebanon, Missouri on Sunday, July 7, 2024. He was fifty-seven years, nine months and twenty-six days of age.
He moved with his family to California. He returned to Lebanon in 1979 and remained here. He loved fishing and hunting and riding his motorcycle anytime he had the chance.
He was preceded in death by his father and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Donald is survived by his mother, Kaye Boston and her husband Junior of Lebanon, Missouri; his son, Allen J. Harris of Lebanon, Missouri; his brother, Russell Harris and his wife Rachael of La Porte, Indiana; his sister, Chantal Bloomingdale and her husband Sharm of Springfield, Missouri; one grandson, Elijah; his step-sister, Tanya Harris of Centralia, Washington; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was a self-proclaimed redneck and was proud of the title. Donald loved listening to country music. You never had to wonder what he was thinking, as he was quite vocal in letting you know his thoughts and opinions.
Most of all, Donald loved his family very much. He looked forward to spending time with them and making memories with them that will be cherished for years to come. He was a wonderful son, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Services for Donald J. Harris will be private.
A memorial has been established to Claws and Paws or the American Red Cross and donations may be left at the funeral home.
