Donald Lee Pillars, Sr., 83, passed away peacefully at his home in Buffalo, MO on April 17, 2026.Donald was born on February 10, 1943, in Lee TWP Calhoun County, Michigan to Charles and Henrietta (Krebs) Pillars, who along with two sisters, preceded him in death. Donald was married to the love of his life, Carol J. Pillars, and together they spent 62 wonderful years. To this union, four children were born, Donna Cole (Jack), Dawn Barnette (Darren), Donald Lee Pillars, Jr. (Johna), and D. J. Howell (Jeff).Donald worked as an owner/operator of his trucking company, at a stave mill as a welder and engineer, and at Lowe Boats as a welder. His hobbies were hunting, mule wagon rides, being outdoors, spending time with his three fur babies, and watching grit during relaxation time with a cup of coffee. We celebrate his life and accomplishments, and we will remember and treasure the memories. He will be greatly missed. Donald is survived by his wife Carol; four children; two sisters; one brother; four grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He also leaves other family members and many friends who will all truly miss him.
