Donald E. Rogers (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Donald Eugene Rogers was born in Lebanon, Missouri, on July 22, 1963, to David and Barbara Daniels Rogers. Don passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-eight. He lived his entire life in Lebanon, graduating from Lebanon High School.
On September 18, 1982, he was married to Tina M. Dowden and to this union two daughters and one son were born.
Don was a hard worker and worked at several businesses around Lebanon, including Lowe Boats, Señor Peppers, Bennett Spring State Park, B & D Transport and at the time of his death, he was employed at Cackle Hatchery.
Don was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Ciera.
He is survived by his wife, Tina, of the home; two daughters, Angela Crapo and her husband, Edward, and Stephanie Henderson and her husband, Tim, all of Lebanon; his son, Justin Rogers and his fiancé, Brandy Dampier, of Lebanon; a sister, Diane Williams of Lebanon; and five grandchildren, Corey, Cadence, Cailyn, Blaine, and Joseph.
Don loved rock and roll music and his favorite band was KISS. He also really enjoyed spending time with his family and his five grandchildren. They were the light of his life, and he was proud of each one.
He was also known for his great sense of humor. Don also enjoyed doing woodworking and the family has many mementos from his handiwork. Don was also an avid hunter and raised chickens. He was an authority on chickens, and many would look to him on advice as how to care for their own chickens.
Don was a family man, and his presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial has been established and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
