Donald Kent Taylor (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Donald Kent Taylor, age 88 of Long Lane, Missouri entered into rest Tuesday, April 29th, 2025 at Colonial Springs Health Center in Buffalo, Missouri.
Don was born February 26, 1937 in Winsor, Missouri to the late George L. Taylor and Janet (Lowery) Taylor.
He graduated high school in Basehor, Kansas. He had several jobs over the years but his long-term career was driving a truck. His CB handle was "The Outhouse Mouse". Don also enjoyed playing the guitar and singing classic country music plus going to music jams.
Don is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Dan Taylor and sister Virginia Cheek. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Carr) Taylor, daughter Brenda Garrison and husband Randy, son Terry and girlfriend Tedi, son Tracy and girlfriend Shelly. Two grandsons, George Riley and Owen Kent Taylor. One Brother Ray Taylor and wife Thelma. Nieces, Nephews and several beloved friends.
Services will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home, Buffalo with visitation from 10 am -11 am and formal service beginning at 11 am. Don will be laid to rest at Wollard Cemetery near Long Lane, Missouri.
