Donivan Ruben Knapp (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Donivan Ruben Knapp, son of Donivan and Geneva Faye Ward Knapp, was born November 23, 1963, at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. He departed this life Friday, August 26, 2022, in his home, near Pittsburg, Missouri, at the age of fifty-eight years, nine months, and three days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Donna Sherman.
Donivan is survived by three sons, Shawn Knapp, and his wife, Julie, Jess Nyman, and his wife, Kelsey, and Robert Nyman, all of Lebanon, Missouri; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Larry Knapp, of Joplin, Missouri; two sisters, Pamela Knapp Lewis, and her special friend Jim Chambers, Sharon Fay Knapp Counts, all of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He lived his entire life in the Lebanon, Missouri area and attended Lebanon R-III Schools. He worked as a handyman and roofer for as long as his health would allow.
He liked fishing and loved antiquing, especially looking for potential treasurers. His family was very important to him and enjoyed having time with them.
Donivan was a loving father, brother, uncle, and was a caring friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
