Donna Lisa Hamlin (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Donna Lisa Hamlin was born April 6, 1963 to William Grover and Sammie Marie Northcutt Pyrtle in Leaksville, North Carolina. She passed away in her Lebanon, Missouri home Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at the age of sixty-one years, eight months and twelve days.
She spent her early years in North Carolina before moving to Iowa. She then made her home in Lebanon, Missouri where she lovingly raised her children.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Shannon Miller and her finance Brian Hulsey of Lebanon, Missouri; her grandchildren, Justin Fife and Megan Groves, Victor Miller, Cassie Miller, Bridget Hulsey, all of Lebanon, Missouri and Olivia Kennedy and Aaron of Richland, Missouri; five great-grandchildren, Vincent Miller, Axel Bohannon, Bentley Bohannon, Jaxon Hamlin and Elliott Hulsey, all of Lebanon, Missouri; her step-daughter, Dawn West of Pittsburg, Missouri; her sisters, Lois Grove of Springfield, Missouri, Angela McAlister and Dorothy Wilson, both of Indianapolis, Indiana; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Sammie; her son, Gary Joe Hamlin; a step-daughter, Amy Pearce; two sisters, Willa Atkins and Samantha Grove; and her lifelong partner, Steve Pearce.
Donna was a caring woman and served as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the home health field.
She enjoyed spending time at lake Pome de Terre with her friends and family. She also looked forward to taking motorcycle trips with her longtime companion, Steve.
Donna also was known for her wonderful cooking and liked to embroidery in her spare time.
Most of all, Donna liked to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved them so much and treasured the time she could spend
with them.
Her loss is deeply felt by her family, and she will be so missed. Yet, we know that she lives on in them, in their memories, and in their love for each other.
Services for Donna Hamlin will be private.
