Donna Herron's Obituary
Donna Gale Herron, daughter of Thomas James and Lois Modell (Reed) Brown was born November 29, 1946 in Odessa, Texas. She departed this life Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in her home in Seymour, Missouri, at the age of sixty-two years, three months, and twenty-six days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her first husband, David Edward Pickett.
Donna is survived by her son, David Pickett and his wife, Marion, of Seymour, Missouri; four grandchildren, Kyla Glenn, Beau Pickett, Tandy Pickett, and Darleen Pickett; seven great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, David, Tristan, Dylon, Gentry, Callie, and Allie; a brother, Dale Wayne, of Arlington, Texas; a sister, Jimmy Sue Addison, of Lovington, New Mexico; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
She was born in Texas and grew up there, in l968 she and David moved to Missouri for a few years and then moved to Colorado and Texas while David worked in the oil fields. In 1991 they moved back to Southern Webster County, Missouri to make their home.
Besides being a devoted wife and mother, Donna also worked as a waitress for many years. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her two dogs, and she was eagerly awaiting the birth of a new great-grandchild.
Donna was a loving and compassionate mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
No formal services are planned at this time; her final resting place will be in Colorado. Arrangements were under direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour, Missouri. Online condolences may made at www.holmanhoweseymour.com
