Donna Fay Jackson (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Donna Fay Flockhart Jackson, was born May 26, 1933 in Blackhawk County, Iowa. She departed this life Sunday, December 24, 2017 in Osage Beach Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, at the age of eighty-four years, six months, and twenty-eight days.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, William Flockhart; her husband, Claude Jackson; a daughter, Terri Flockhart; a grandson, Justin Flockhart; a granddaughter, Brooke Flockhart; a brother, Albert (Bud) Lycke; and a daughter-in-law, Jane Flockhart.
She is survived by a daughter, Vanessa Flockhart and her fiance Duke Goss, of Waynesville, Missouri; a son, Gary Flockhart and wife Katherine, of Cole Camp, Missouri; a brother, David Lycke, of Climax Springs, Missouri; two sisters, Alice Thomas, of Yuma, Arizona, and Helen Seifner, of Lathrop, Missouri; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
Donna moved to Missouri at a young age and was a graduate of Licking High School. She was very proud of her children and worked hard as a waitress at Tan-Tar-A for many years to support them. In her spare time, Donna enjoyed working in her flower garden, bird watching, taking long walks, and caring for her dog “Taco.”
Donna was a loving mother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends.
