Donna Marie Morris, daughter of Ray and Alma Reithmeyer Husselton, was born March 6, 1963, in Miami, Florida. She departed this life Saturday, May 25, 2013, in Columbia, Missouri, at the age of fifty years, two months, and nineteen days.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristen.
Donna is survived by a daughter, Crystal Rodenbaugh, and her husband, Rex, of Kansas City, Missouri; her parents, Ray and Alma Husselton, of Lebanon, Missouri; two sisters, Patricia Williams, and her husband, Stanley, of Des Moines, Iowa, and Lenice Barker, and her husband, Darwin, of Overland Park, Kansas; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and then moved with her family to Lebanon, Missouri, when she was five years old. She graduated from Lebanon High School, and then moved to Columbia, Missouri in 1999. Donna worked at the University of Missouri Hospital until 2011, and was currently employed by the Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital. She was also a devoted homemaker to her family throughout the years.
Donna had attended Forum Boulevard Christian Church in Columbia, Missouri.
In her spare time she enjoyed boating on the Lake of the Ozarks, riding horses, and was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Rams. She possessed a delightful sense of humor and had hopes of owning a cherry red Corvette, and going to Hawaii. She also loved her dog, Hershey. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed spending time with her daughter.
Donna was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor, co-worker, and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them.
