Donna M. Piercy (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Donna Marie Piercy, daughter of Clyde Ralph and Verna L. Hargett Becker, was born March 27, 1957, in Crocker, Missouri. She departed this life Saturday, June 9, 2018, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-one years, two months, and twelve days.
On July 2, 1983, she was united in marriage to Carl Lee Piercy, and to this union one son and one daughter were born.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Donna is survived by her husband, Carl, of the home; a son, Christopher Piercy, and his wife, Jackie, of Lebanon, Missouri; a daughter, Rebecca Piercy-Jones, and her husband, Brian, of Richland, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Darlene, R. J., Weslee, Levi, Etta, Ellis, and Amzlee; six brothers, David Becker, and his wife, Beth, Terry Becker, all of Lebanon, Missouri, Larry Becker, and his wife, Bert, Tommy Becker, and his wife, Dorothy, Rex Becker, and his wife, Joyce, all of Richland, Missouri, and Mike Becker, of Stoutland, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in the Richland, Missouri area, and graduated from Richland High School. After she and Carl were married, they made their home in the Lebanon area and lovingly raised their children. In addition to being a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, Donna worked as a seamstress for the H. D. Lee Company, Rue Industries for ten years, and then for Tracker Marine for two years.
In her spare time she enjoyed working in her garden and growing beautiful flowers. She also liked making quilts. She always put her family first and her grandchildren were extremely special to her.
Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
