Donna Louise Yoder (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Donna Louise Yoder, daughter of Richard and Juanita D. Huntington Thomas, was born March 24, 1952, in Kansas City, Kansas. She departed this life Monday, October 21, 2019, in the University of Missouri Hospital, in Columbia, Missouri, at the age of sixty-seven years, six months, and twenty-eight days.
On October 9, 1998, she was united in marriage to David Yoder and they shared twenty years before his passing on June 18, 2005.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Eddie Reeves and baby Richard.
Donna is survived by a son, Robby Meadows, of the State of Colorado; a step-son, Christopher Yoder, of Wichita, Kansas; four grandchildren, Amber, Triston, Desiray, and Lora; a brother, Richard Thomas, II, and his wife, Mae, of Kansas City, Kansas; seven sisters, Sue Thomas, Roxetta Thomas, Annamay Hernandez, Sherry Jones, and her husband, Norman, all of Lebanon, Missouri, Irene Thomas, of Stoutland, Missouri, Karen Green and Debbie Green, both of the State of Colorado; a number of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Linda Lemons, and her husband, Adam; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born in Kansas and then raised in the Reeds Spring, Missouri area, and then moved to Lebanon, Missouri in the 1960’s. She worked as a cashier at Pitt’s Stop and also helped in her dad’s jewelry business. She was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family.
In her spare time she liked playing board games, watching movies, collecting owls, and following her horoscope. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
Donna was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
A memorial has been established and may be left at the funeral home.
