Donnie Lee White (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Donnie Lee “Danny” White, son of Elvis and Veva Button White, was born July 22, 1942 near Gideon, Missouri. He departed this life February 18, 2017 in Lebanon, MO at the age of 74 years, 6 months and 27 days.
On June a26, 1962 he was united in marriage to Pearl Mae Manley. To this union four sons were born. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Murle, Clinden and Jerry White. Six sisters, Mary Alma Brent, Evelyn Roberts, Juanita Riggs, Ruth Dwyer, Doris Eastwood and Leeodie Coble.
He is survived by his faithful wife and companion, Pearl, of the home; Four sons, Danny White and wife Labecca, Sedalia, MO, Clinton White and wife Larrie, Billings, MO, Kenny White and wife, Peggy, Lebanon, MO and Steve White and wife, Trish of Lebanon, MO. Fourteen grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren also survive.
“Danny” grew up in the Boot Hill region of Missouri. He entered the United States Army as a young man and was proud of the service he provided for our country. They made their home in Indiana and Illinois before settling in Missouri. He had worked at Nalco Chemical plant and after moving to Lebanon he worked for many years at Vernon and Sons. He also worked for a time at Detroit Tool. He received his H-Vac certification earlier in life and was skilled in many aspects of maintenance. He attended the Garfield Church of God.
He centered his principle interest in his family and enjoyed having his family home on every occasion possible. He treasured their time together. He liked playing cards, fishing, horse shoes and being outdoors whenever possible.
Dannie was an inspiration to his family and friends. His devotion to his wife transcended over 50 years. He will be cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
