Doris Curtis (Urbana)'s Obituary
Doris P. Curtis, age 97, of Urbana, Missouri, passed away on March 21, 2024, at Colonial Springs Healthcare Facility in Buffalo, Missouri.
Doris was born on September 19, 1926, in Lorenzo, Idaho, to the late Emil John and Hilda (Gallup) Pabst. On April 18, 1944, Doris was united in marriage to Harry Martin Curtis, to this union, two children were born. Doris and Harry lived and worked on their family farm, raising beef and dairy cattle and a few crops. Doris enjoyed sewing and was very talented at embroidering many keepsakes over the years.
Doris was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be missed dearly.
Doris was preceded by her parents, husband, sister Lola Blackburn and husband Grant, brother Alva Pabst, sister Dorothy Pabst, brother Howard Pabst and wife Roberta, and brother-in-law Frank Amidan. She is survived by her two children, Dale Curtis and wife Sherry, daughter Nancy Bewley and husband Tom, grandchildren Mark Curtis and wife Janay, Brian Curtis and wife Brooke, Traci Sapp and wife Sabrina, and Duane Bewley and wife Genesis, great grand children Aaron Curtis, Aiden Curtis, Andrew Curtis, Angelina Curtis, Alexa Curtis, Zane Sapp, Chase Sapp, Eleanor Sapp, Zoey Sapp, Cormic Bewley, and Elias Bewley, one sister Linda Amidan.
Celebration of life will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Urbana, Missouri. Doris will be laid to rest next to her husband at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Urbana, Missouri.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home, Urbana.
