Doris Jane Glendenning (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Doris Jane Glendenning, age 83, of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away at her home in Bolivar, on Saturday, February 7, 2015.
Doris was born on May 23, 1931, in San Antonio, Texas, to Carl and Lucille (Oldham) Bean.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Bolivar United Methodist Church. She will be remembered for her quick wit, feisty personality and dedication to her family. She dearly loved books, and the library was her favorite place to visit.
She is survived by; her husband, Jack Glendenning, of the home; two daughters, Kerry Meinecke, and husband Tim, Of Liberty, Missouri, and Dana Eversoll, and husband Lee, of Bolivar; one son, David Glendenning, and wife Gabriela, of Bolivar; five grandchildren, Aaron Eversoll, Kimberly Adams, Andy Glendenning, Rachel Roberts, Adam Glendenning, and Alex Glendenning; two step-granchildren, Diego B. Velasco, and Maria Fernanda B. Velasco; 6 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; two siblings, Betty Emery, of Wichita, Kansas, and R. Paul Bean, of Denton, Texas.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Polk County Library.
