Doris J Sisco (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Doris “Jean” (Boyd) Sisco of Lebanon, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 3, 2023 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. At the time of her passing she was sixty-seven years, eight months and four days of age.
Jean was born October 30, 1955 in Lebanon, Missouri to James E. Boyd and Doris Swaim. On January 3, 1994, Jean was united in marriage to Robert Sisco in Miami, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her father, James E. Boyd; her grandparents, Hurbert and Esther Swaim; her mother and father-in-law, Jr. Boone and Jean Sisco; her daughter, Barbara Jean Jackson; and her brother, James Boyd.
Jean is survived by her loving husband, Rob Sisco of the home; her mother, Doris Boyd of Lebanon, Missouri; her daughters, Patricia Jackson and Cari Terry, both of Springfield, Missouri and Christina Scrivner of Stoutland, Missouri; her step-daughters, Elaina Marie Sisco and Crystal Renee Harris of Gibson, Louisiana; her brother, Raymond Boyd of Lebanon, Missouri; eighteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
Jean had accepted Christ as a young girl and was a member of Candock Baptist Church in Lebanon, Missouri.
She loved being outside watching the animals, doing yard work and tending to the flowers. Jean was small but mighty enough to take on whatever came her way. On days that things didn’t go just right, her favorite saying was “bull tweeties”.
Jean was a homemaker and her life revolved around her family. She loved times spent with them and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, other family members, her four legged fur babies. She was an avid caretaker for her family.
This isn’t goodbye; this is “see you later”.
