Dorothy Anderson (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Dorothy Marie Anderson, daughter of Charles and Gladys Boyer, was born June 3, 1937, in Springfield, Illinois. She departed this life Wednesday, July 13, 2016, in Countryside Home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-nine years, one month, and ten days.
On December 23, 1954, she was united in marriage to Donald Dale Anderson, and to this union three sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald; a son, John Anderson; and eleven brothers.
Dorothy is survived by two sons, Dennis Anderson, and Guy Anderson, and his wife, Kim, all of Lebanon, Missouri; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born in Illinois, and was raised in the State of Washington. After she and Donald were married, they made their home in various locations while Donald served in the United States Marine Corps. She had made her home in Lebanon, Missouri for the last twelve years.
In her spare time she enjoyed traveling, gambling, and visiting with her family and friends on her front porch. She was a very helpful person.
Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
