Dorothy Brown's Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy Lea Brown, age 78, of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011 at Citizen?s Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar, Missouri.
She was born January 20, 1933 in Rondo, Missouri to Lloyd James Bell and Eunice Edith (Wollard) Bell.
On June 14, 1950, Dorothy married Marvin Eugene Brown in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Dorothy was a homemaker, wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed cross stitching and collecting precious moments figurines. She was a faithful member of the Bible Baptist Church in Buffalo, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother; Leonard Bell and two sisters; Georgia Musgrove and Marjorie Minor.
Dorothy is survived by her husband; Marvin E. Brown of the home, one son; Randall Brown and his wife Kristine of Forsythe, Missouri, one daughter; Deborah Redd and her husband Dale of Halfway, Missouri, two sisters; Gladys Moore and her husband Richard of Bolivar, Missouri, Kathryn Greer and her husband Gary of Goodson, Missouri, six grandchildren; Jamie Nunez, Justin Redd, Derek Brown, Carter Brown, Morgan Brown, Korey Brown, and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm, Wednesday, March 26, 2011 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Dr. Robert Baker officiating. Musical selections will be ?Beuland Land? and "I Believe In A Hill Called Mount Calvary" by David Hartwell. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00pm, Wednesday at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar. Pallbearers will be Randall Brown, Dale Redd, Justin Redd, Ozark Nunez, Derek Brown and Carter Brown.
