Dorothy Robertson (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Dorothy May Robertson, 93, of Bolivar, MO passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 26, 2023.
Dorothy was born to Attrell and Gertrude (Sims) Gragg in Kansas City, MO. She graduated high school at Fair Play, MO. After graduation, she married Floyd Robertson and worked for many years as a teacher with Head Start.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Attrell and Gertrude Gragg, husband Floyd Robertson, daughter Susan (Robertson) Watson, son Mark Robertson, brothers Robert, Ralph, and William Gragg, sister Doris Fellers, and grandchildren Jacob and Shaylee Watson.
Dorothy is survived by one brother, Richard Gragg (Iris). Seven children- Charles Robertson, John Robertson (Karen), Carl Robertson, Nancy Sartin (Ron), James Robertson, Catherine Kurtzman (Ed), Joseph Robertson (Misty). Dorothy loved and adored her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Dorothy’s hobbies included spending time with family, attending church, and gardening. She was an avid reader of all books, especially the Bible. One of her favorite quotes was, “Death is not a period, it is only a comma!”
A donation can be made in Dorothy’s memory to St.Croix Hospice in Bolivar, MO.
Services for Dorothy will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 3:00 PM. Visitation for Dorothy will be held one hour prior to the service starting at 2:00 PM.
