Dorothy Stratton (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Dorothy passed this life Friday, July 20 at 8:27 a.m. at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO at the age of 86.
She was born May 22, 1932 to Troy and Gladys (Blackwell) Williams in Long Lane, MO and was saved at the age of 14. Dorothy married Orville Efton Thomas October 14, 1950, and to this union are four children; Janice (Jim) Lafferty of Ava, MO and Kenny Thomas, Randy (Barbara) Thomas, and Loretta Thomas all of Springfield, MO. After Orville passed away, she married Rev. Leonard Stratton February 28, 1972. Dorothy retired from Kraft Foods, and in her spare time, she loved quilting and spending time with family and friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her two husbands; her parents; one great-grandchild, Kobby Michael Kinyon; and two brothers, Earl and Ralph. She is survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Richard of Flint, MI, Paul of Long Lane, MO, and Everett of Strafford, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
