I was saddened to read of Dorothy's passing. I absolutely LOVE the picture you have chosen for this obituary; she was a beautiful lady inside and out. I met Dorothy at the Pregnancy Support Center, and immediately became a friend - she became my "date" for many years of the PSC banquets. She was helpful to me when I was having marital issues, and gladly not only prayed for me, but gave me helpful reading materials that she knew could help me. My fondest memory of Dorothy was during a PSC walk. This lady who was several years my senior - was running backwards FASTER than I could walk!! She was precious and she will be missed. I apologize for not being able to attend these services, I work therefore I cannot make it during the day; however you are in my prayers today and the weeks to come! Brenda (Wieners) Warren

Miss Dorothy- what a wonderful lady! When I first started working at the Pregnancy Support Center Miss Dorothy was a volunteer client mentor. She was so good with the young women who came to the center to be educated and encouraged. She called all of them "girlfriend" especially if she saw them years later and couldn't remember their names. LOL. She had one client who used to pat her on the head. I asked her if it bothered her, and she said no, and we laughed. Later on, she volunteered to work in our Mommy Market every Tuesday, and I spent a lot of time with her and got to know her even more. We talked about everything from family and politics, and health supplements and theology. I learned about her family, and she loved each one of you very much. See you in heaven Girlfriend!!
