Dottie Lee Hart (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Dottie Lee Hart, daughter of Roy P. and Alta J. Rogers Tyre, was born January 14, 1943, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Wednesday, February 5, 2020, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-seven years, and twenty-two days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene Hart; two daughters, Cynthia Francis and Linda Campbell; and two grandsons, Eddie Campbell, and Ronald Francis.
Dottie is survived by two daughters, Liz Campbell, of Richland, Missouri, and Dottie Buckman, of Quincy, Illinois; her grandchildren, James and Kali McEntyre, Richard and Sam McEntyre, Casandra Buckman, Savannah Buckman, Kala Chase, Donald Francis, Linda and David Shelby, and Kelsey and Nathan Hinson; a number of great-grandchildren; her siblings, Kay and Rue Cleveland, of Arlington, Georgia, Betty Sue Tyre, of Richland, Missouri, Jack and Sharon Tyre, Bob and Sue Tyre, all of Lebanon, Missouri, and Ted and Shirley Trye, of Long Lane, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in the Stoutland and Richland areas and attended Plato High School. After she was married, she was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, and also worked at the Bell Restaurant in Lebanon. She later was employed at the Oasis Plaza on I-44.
Dottie was a member of Hazelgreen United Methodist Church where she was very active in many areas of service.
Early in her life she enjoyed crocheting. Her family was always at the center of her life and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dottie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories that she made for them during her lifetime.
The family will have a memorial service for Dottie on Thursday, Feb. 20 at noon at Hazelgreen United Methodist Church.
A memorial has been established and contributions may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Holman-Howe Funeral Home, 320 S. Adams St., Lebanon, Missouri, 65536.
