Dottie Jean Moore (Hartville)'s Obituary
Dottie Jean Moore, daughter of Chester Earl and Ola Ann Admire Davis, was born Saturday, September 13, 1930 in Wright County, Missouri. She departed this life Saturday, February 7, 2015 in her home, at the age of eighty-four years, four months, and twenty-five days.
On January 18, 1949, Dottie was united in marriage to Waldo Eugene Moore and to this union seven children were born.
Dottie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Waldo, on January 29, 2012; a son, Don Moore, Sr.; and two daughters, Melba Darlene Moore and Pamela Sue Moore.
She is survived by her son, Ronnie Moore, and wife Regina, of Cabool, Missouri; three daughters, Barbara Prock and husband Eldon, of Niangua, Missouri, Brenda Rust and husband Ronnie, of Marshfield, Missouri, and Sandra Banks and husband Cody, of Gladstone, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Dale Davis and wife Inetta, of Grovespring, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Dottie was born in Wright County, and attended Smittle Grade School. She was a lifelong resident of Wright County.
She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized as a young child.
Dottie was a devoted homemaker to her family and worked tirelessly beside her husband on the family farm.
In her spare time, Dottie enjoyed gardening, listening to country music and attending many of the local singings. Her family was very dear to her and she cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren.
Dottie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends.
