Douglas K Davis (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Douglas Kent Davis, son of Albert Winchestor and Imogene Wright Davis, was born, July 12, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri. He departed this life, July 2, 2017, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of sixty two years, eleven months and twenty days.
He was preceded in death by his father Albert Davis.
He is survived by his daughters, Rachel Kramer and husband Jake of Camdenton, Missouri, Samantha Hafley and husband Jeremy of Camdenton, Missouri, Rebecca Davis of Camdenton, Missouri, and Cheryl Davis of Camdenton, Missouri,; his mother Imogene Davis of Camdenton, Missouri,; his grandchildren, Derek and Paige Hafley, Donovan, McKenzie Rae, and Avery Lee Kramer, Marckus, Abigael and Ethan Rhoades and Jacob and Miles Lee,; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Douglas was raised in Kansas City, Missouri and attended Westport Junior High.
Douglas made a profession of faith and was a member of Church of Christ in Camdenton.
In his spare time would see how far he could connect with people on his CB Radio, he enjoyed going to concerts, spending time with his family and barbecuing at every family function they had. He loved to take road trips on his motorcycle and with the family. Douglas was also a member of the Lion’s Club.
He was a devoted loving father, son, and grandpa and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service in the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2017, in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Burial will follow in Glover Chapel Cemetery, Richland, Missouri.
Memorial donations may be made to the family and left at the funeral home.
