Douglas Michael Hubler (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Douglas Michael Hubler, son of Glenn Albert Hubler, Jr. and Denise Lucille Huett Hubler, was born October 7, 1985, in St. Louis, Missouri. He departed this life Thursday, January 2, 2020, in Cox South Medical Center, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of thirty-four years, two months, and twenty-five days.
He was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents; and two uncles.
Douglas is survived by his mother and step-father, Denise and Eddie Dry, of Falcon, Missouri; four daughters, Mia Hubler, Desiree Hubler, Bella Hubler, all of Lebanon, Missouri, and Taygan Hubler, of St. Louis, Missouri; two sons, Jayden Hubler and Michael Hubler, both of Lebanon, Missouri; three brothers, David Hubler, of St. Louis, Daniel Hubler, of Waynesville, Missouri, and Dennis Hubler, of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister, Jackie Smith, of St. Louis, Missouri; a step-brother, Dakota Dry, of Seattle, Washington; a step-sister, Samantha Dry, of Denver, Colorado; uncles; aunts; and several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born in St. Louis, and raised in St. Louis and Lebanon. He graduated from Lebanon High School and then attended college for two years. He had done factory work for several years. He had made his home near Falcon, Missouri for the last few years.
Douglas had made his profession of faith in Christ and was baptized in the Community Baptist Church near Lebanon.
He liked writing music, dancing and making people laugh. He lit up a room with his smile, loved people and living life. He enjoyed making others laugh and spending time with his children. His last wish was for his organs to be donated to help others and to give life to people.
Douglas was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and was a caring friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
