Douglas P. Strickland (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Douglas Patrick Strickland, son of the late William Taylor Strickland and Matilada (Muti) Strickland, was born on January 24, 1960 and departed this life on April 15, 2018 at his home in Springfield, MO. At the time of his passing he was 58 years, 2 months, and 19 days of age. Douglas was born overseas while his father was serving his country. He graduated from high school in Virginia and obtained his master’s degree in Computer Science from American University in Washington D.C. He then went to work for 21 years as a computer consultant for various U.S Government projects. In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting and restoring watches and novelty cars. Douglas was preceded in death by his father, William Taylor Strickland. He is survived by his mother, Matilda Strickland. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and many who will all truly miss him.
