Doyle Wayne Huber (Mansfield)'s Obituary
Doyle Wayne Huber, son of Truman and Effie Roach Huber, was born June 18, 1936, in Eddy, Texas, and departed this life on January 5, 2016, at his home near Mansfield, Missouri, at the age of seventy-nine years, six months and seventeen days.
In December 1956, he was united in marriage to Veda Todd and to this union
two children were born. In February 1980, he was united in marriage to Betty Bunch. Betty preceded him in death October 15, 2007. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a great-granddaughter, Rocci Marie Lynn.
Doyle is survived by a son, T. Wayne Huber and wife, Kim of Ava, Missouri; daughter, Dawn Skelton and husband, Steven of Mansfield, Missouri; a very special person who he thought of as a daughter, Bobbi Haws and husband, Jack of Mansfield, Missouri; grandchildren, Tina Huskey and companion, Joe Johnson, Doyle (Skip) Huskey and companion, Amanda Fuqua, Todd Huske
y and companion, Misty Laws, David Huskey and companion, Sarah Haskins, Brittany
Huskey Lynn and husband, Dustin, Matthew Ethan Logan Huber, Wyatt Brandon
Huber, and Brandi Jo Culbertson and husband, Phillip; 18 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
He was born in Eddy and raised in Austin, Texas. He served his country faithfully in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Doyle was salesman, mechanic, law enforcement officer as well as the owner/operator of Wright County Performance in Mansfield for several years. He was very proud to have served his country in the Air Force and working in law enforcement. Two years ago he went to Washington, D.C. on The Honor Flight and that was a highlight in his life. Doyle was an active member of Clarence King Post 128 of the American Legion.
In his spare time, he enjoyed classic cars, Nascar and was a big Dallas Cowboy fan.
Doyle Huber was a loving father, grandfather and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will cherish the many good times we had together.
