Duane Keith's Obituary
Duane E. Keith, 68, of Camdenton, Missouri, died Monday at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri. He was born on February 4, 1939, in Minonk, Illinois, son of Charles and Lorraine Keith. Duane was part of a large family and had many fond memories of growing up on a farm near Washburn, Illinois. Duane was united in marriage to Bernita Schumaker on July 2, 1960. He spent many years driving a truck across the United States and had many stories to tell. Duane lived on the Lake of the Ozarks and enjoyed fishing and gardening. He once caught an eighty pound catfish in the cove near his home. He was happiest when spending time with his family. He is lovingly survived by two sons, Mark Keith and his wife, Tammy, of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Rod Keith and his wife, Billie, of Mason City, Iowa; a daughter, Angie Keith and Dave Lyon of Toulon, Illinois; eight grandchildren, T.J., Matthew and Abby Keith, Sydney, Brooke and Jake Keith and Chase and Alexis Keith; eight siblings, Wanda Nixon of Chillicothe, Illinois, Courtney Charles Keith, Jr. and his wife, Nina, of Washburn, Illinois, Daryle T. Keith and his wife, Bonnie, of Washington, Illinois, Marvin E. Keith and his wife, Sharon, of Louisville, Kentucky, Mary Jane Sharp and her husband, Wallace, and Sharon F. Linch and her husband, Everett, all of Camdenton, Missouri, James Norman and his wife, Clara, of Chillicothe, Illinois, and Ronald L. Keith and his wife, Judy, of Creve Coeur, Illinois; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Brian Edward Keith. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2007, in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton. Visitation will be held Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Services are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri. Memorials to the National Kidney Foundation may be made through the funeral home.
