Dustin C. Perry (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Dustin Craig Perry, son of James Craig and Dianna Boyer Perry, was born April 14, 1979, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Saturday, May 26, 2012, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of thirty-three years, one month, and twelve days.
On February 2, 2009, he was united in marriage to Kristie Breckner, and to this union two sons were born.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dale Boyer; and his paternal grandmother, Treva Perry.
Dustin is survived by his wife, Kristie, of the home; two sons, Aidan and August Perry, of the home; his parents, Rev. Craig and Dianna Perry, of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister, Trisha Murphy, and her husband, Chris, of Lebanon, Missouri; a niece, Chloe Marie Murphy, of Lebanon, Missouri; his maternal grandmother, Ethel Boyer, of Lebanon, Missouri; his paternal grandfather, Ethan Perry, of Lebanon, Missouri; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
Dustin was always blessed with great intelligence. Even as a child, he was enrolled in the Gifted Program in elementary school. Dustin excelled throughout his entire school career, and graduated with honors from Lebanon High School. He was a member of Who’s Who and the National Honor Society.
Dustin was currently a student at Missouri State University majoring in environmental chemistry. He was presented with the Missouri State Prestigious Outstanding Environmental Chemistry Student Award in May. Dustin had also received a highly competitive internship in the lab at Missouri State. He was scheduled to graduate in December and planned to work in the field of environmental science.
In his spare time he enjoyed camping and fishing, working on his computer, and loved music. Most of all he enjoyed his family. He loved his boys, and enjoyed watching them ride bicycles, play and view movies together.
Dustin was a joy to be around. He liked to make people laugh and loved to laugh himself. Dustin was always the life of the party and never encountered someone that didn’t like him, especially children. Since Dustin was a child, he always rooted for the “underdog”. He enjoyed helping others, and did so every chance he got. Dustin would give you his last dollar or the shirt off of his back if you asked him.
Dustin accepted Christ as his Savior as a child, and then rededicated himself to the Lord this past fall. Dustin was an active member of Community Baptist Church of Lebanon.
Even with all the joy and love that Dustin brought us all, it was not enough. At the age of thirty-three, Dustin’s life was cut short.
Dustin was a loving son, father, husband, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. Dustin will be greatly missed by all.
