Dwight was born in Mansfield and lived here most of his life. He was a bus driver for Springfield City Utilities for over 30 years and after retiring from there he worked for Allied Charters for several years. Dwight loved watching Nascar and Drag Racing. If anyone had questions about cars, Dwight was the person to turn to. He mentored many family members and friends on fixing problems they were having with their car.
In his spare time he liked to gamble, play poker, watch old westerns or just sit on his porch and take in all that nature had to offer. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he loved having them around.
Dwight was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and will always cherish the memories we have of him.
