Earl Riggs' Obituary
Earl Edward Riggs, son of Lonnie and Etta M. Frederick Riggs, was born June 4, 1949 in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Friday, November 2, 2007 in his home in Stoutland, Missouri at the age of fifty-eight years, four months and twenty-nine days. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lonnie Riggs, Jr. Survivors are his uncle, Ward Frederick, Sr. and his wife, Shirley, of Camdenton, Missouri; his children, Amanda Nations and Michael Wilson, both of Camdenton, Missouri; several cousins and many friends. He spent most of his life in Camden County with the exception of a brief time spent in Oklahoma as a teenager. He was a graduate of Camdenton High School. After high school he spent a short time in the Navy before receiving a medical discharge. He worked as a farm laborer most of his life. He accepted Christ as his savior as a teenager while living in Oklahoma. He was a big animal lover, especially kittens and geese. He enjoyed spending time on his CB radio and had formed many friendships. He enjoyed the outdoors and liked to hunt and fish. Earl made an impact on many lives and he will be greatly missed. We celebrate his life and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2007, in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton. Burial will be in the Montreal Cemetery, Montreal, Missouri. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Services are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri. Return to top
