Edith Boro (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Edith (Chastain) Boro, daughter of the late George Washington and Elva (Evans) Chastain, was born on December 29, 1926 in Dallas County, MO, and departed this life on September 21, 2022 at Colonial Springs Care Center in Buffalo, MO. At the time of her passing she was 95 years, eight months, and 21 days of age.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice and her husband, Jim Haines of Lebanon, MO and their two children, Jimmie and his wife, Michele Haines and Stephanie Stroup and her husband, Eric; her son, Randall and his wife, Juanita Boro and their three children, Kayla and her husband, Alex Mastroianni, Caleb and his wife, Mary Ann Boro and Krista and her husband, Chase Mitchell; and 12 great-grandchildren with one more soon to arrive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022 in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Elliott officiating. Escorts will be Jim Haines, Jimmie Haines, Eric Stroup, Caleb Boro, Alex Mastroinanni, and Chase Mitchell. Interment will be in the Memorial Garden of Memories Cemetery under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
