Edward "Wade" Earls (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Edward Wade Earls, son of William Pen and Sallie Lee Montgomery Earls, was born July 7, 1934, in Kennett, Missouri. He departed this life Tuesday, June 9, 2020, in Cox South Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of eighty-five years, eleven months, and two days.
On April 19, 1953, he was united in marriage to Eva Mae Ruble, and to this union two daughters were born. Eva passed away on November 6, 2007.
On October 4, 2014, he married Bonna Kay Curry, and they shared the last five years.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Sylvia Diane Long, and Joyce Elaine Earls; three brothers, Curtis, Charles and James Earls; and two sisters, Katie Thomas, and Gwen Purdue.
Wade is survived by his wife, Bonna, of the home; two granddaughters, Rachel Vaughan, of Springfield, Missouri, and Lesley Wells, of Republic, Missouri; two step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Buck Earls and Gary Don Earls, both of Conway, Missouri; a sister, Deorseal Thomas, of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born in Kennett, Missouri, and then moved with his family to the Conway, Missouri area when he was twelve years old. One of his first jobs was on a riverboat traveling the Mississippi River. He then began working with mobile homes and owned and operated Earls Mobile Homes Service in Springfield, Missouri for over forty years. He also built Peaceful Valley Mobile Home Park near Bennett Spring.
Wade had professed his faith in Christ and was an active member of Freedom Church of the Nazarene in Lebanon. He often worked on projects within the church.
In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and playing Rummy. He loved his country and was a very patriotic person. He also liked spending time with his family, which he loved dearly.
Wade was a loving husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a caring friend. We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories he made for them during his lifetime.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 14 at 2 p.m. at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon. Visitation will be Saturday, June 13 from 5 - 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery in Conway.
A memorial has been established to the Freedom Church of the Nazarene or the Trump 2020 presidential campaign.
