Edward Joseph Breault's Obituary
Edward Joseph Breault, Jr., son of Edward Joseph, Sr. and Adel Breault, was born July 17, 1922, in Chicago, Illinois. He departed this life Wednesday, March 28, 2007, in St. John’s Regional Health Center, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of eighty-four years, eight months, and eleven days. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Ellison and to this union five children were born. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, in 2006; his parents; a grandson, Chris Breault; a brother, George Breault; and a sister, Lucille Breault. Edward is survived by three sons, Gregory Breault, of Grovespring, Missouri, Charles Breault, and Michael Breault, and his wife, Patricia, all of Hartville, Missouri; two daughters Bernadette Dalfonso, and Sherry Archer, and her husband, Bill; nine grandchildren, Jennifer and Christopher Merced, Robert and Michelle Breault, Lorenzo and Christina Dalfonso, Samantha Neff, Kelly Robertson, and Kerry Goodin; eleven great-grandchildren, Noah Nylander, Jenna and Sidney Robertson, Anthony, Tommy, and Tiffany Goodin, Austin, Lacy, and Dante Dalfonso, Jonathon and Audrey Breault; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was born and raised in Chicago and served his country faithfully in the United States Army. After being honorably discharged, he worked for Lowry Electronics, and then in 1970 he moved to Grovespring. Edward was a member of the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lebanon. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and a former member of Knights of Columbus. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, reloading, target shooting, and was an avid reader. He centered his life around spending time with his family and grandchildren. Edward was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and will treasure the wonderful memories he has created for his family and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2007, in the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Lebanon. Burial will be in the Durbin Cemetery, north of Hartville. Visitation will be held Saturday from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Holman-Howe Chapel, Hartville. Services are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Hartville, Missouri.
