Edward Gene Stovall (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Edward Gene Stovall Sr. was born on June 13,1935, in City of St. Louis, Missouri and died February 10, 2026 in Columbia, Missouri, at the age of 90.
He was married to Mary Jean Johnson on November 5, 1955, in Hernando, Mississippi.
He leaves behind two sons, Edward Gene Stovall, Jr. (Becky) of Springfield, Missouri and Timothy Scott Stovall (Kim) of Columbia, Missouri; two daughters, Mary Kathleen Danback of Keysport, Illinois and Terri Lynn Milton (Dave) of Mascoutah, Illinois; 13 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Stovall; his parents, Edgar and Thelma Stovall; his brother Larry Stovall; and son-in law, Mark Danback.
Ed graduated from Olivette Nazarene University and served as a Pastor for over 50 years in the Nazarene Church. He helped create a Mission Church in East St. Louis that is still active today and helped with a church plant in Columbia, Il.
He also owned and operated an Auto Glass company for decades and Mohawk Auto Parts in St. Louis. He loved the junk yards where he could get a good deal and was fondly known as Ed Mohawk.
Most of all he loved his family and friends dearly and enjoyed spending time with them during holiday celebrations, at their lake home, family reunions, and vacations.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m., in the funeral home. Interment will take place in Allee Memorial Gardens, Camdenton, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
